Waiting Room/ReceptionFrom the moment you walk in the door, you know we care. Our friendly staff will make you welcome, and we’ll do everything we can to minimize your waiting time.
We even have a separate Kitty Corner for cats and their owners who prefer to remain out of the way of any dogs who may share their appointment time.
Each of our five exam rooms is unique, but they all have certain features in common. Each is spacious and offers comfortable client seating, as well as a computer station with a large monitor for viewing digital x-rays and other diagnostic images. Shown here is Sierra,with its hydraulic exam table which can easily lift a large dog, but folds out of the way when not needed.Because no one likes a cold slippery surface, each exam table is fitted with a cushy non-skid mat. Three of our exams have large windows for natural light. Each has a frosted-glass door that combines privacy with a sense of openness.
In summer 2012, Country Club Animal Clinic upgraded our in-house laboratory suite to include capabilities for virtually all routine testing. In addition to chemistry panels, urinalysis and complete blood counts (CBC), this includes endocrinology (thyroid, cortisol), pancreatitis testing, blood clotting times, and much more! Sometimes we need answers right away. Isn’t it comforting to know that those answers are now immediately available!
Operating RoomHere’s where sterile procedures take place, in a protected environment with “positive pressure air flow” – this keeps the air that might contain germs from flowing in. Everything from puppy spays to major orthopedic surgery is done in this room. Our heated hydraulic surgery table is in the foreground – not only does it raise and lower with the touch of a foot pedal, it also tilts and the sides tip independently to optimize positioning of the patient.
Everything in this room is designed with efficiency and patient safety in mind. In the background is one of our gas anesthesia units, along with one of our multi-parameter monitors, that measures heart and breathing, blood pressure, temperature, and more. The IV pole holds fluids and a precision IV pump to support blood flow to vital organs. The Ellman Surgitron uses radio waves to create bloodless incisions and cauterize bleeding vessels when needed. Even our instrument trays are specially selected to adjust easily and provide an extra wide surface for sterile surgery packs.
Country Club Animal Clinic offers a wide array of pet dental services. Here, Jen takes digital dental x-rays of a patient’s teeth. In the background is one of our two dental hygiene units. All patients under anesthesia receive intravenous fluid support, are kept warm using Bair Hugger warm-air blowers, and are monitored using digital multi-parameter monitors that keep track of breathing, heart function, and blood pressure.
