Community Outreach

Country Club Animal Clinic, as a company and through its individual staff, is frequently active in community outreach, including charitable fundraisers and Pet Wellness events. This section will offer glimpses into a few such efforts. It is not meant to be comprehensive by any means!

Dr. Roberts is a long-time board member of the Palms to Pines Rotary Club, meeting Wednesday mornings in Palm Desert. Join us for breakfast!

Dr. Roberts has served on the board of the Coachella Animal Network (Together we CAN) since its inception. CAN has hosted dozens of low-cost spay/neuter events and to date has sterilized over 7000 pets, mostly in the East Valley – often at no cost to the owner! CAN also provides vaccination and licensing clinics, ensuring that beloved pets can remain in their homes.

We get a lot of compliments on the clean look and feel of our facility – yet our professional staff are rarely asked to clean! Since 2008, Country Club Animal Clinic has partnered with Desert Arc to hire motivated cleaning staff! This gives us reliable full-time employees at the ready to mop up those unexpected messes – along with the routine cleaning that goes along with any veterinary practice. And it offers employment to people who are often overlooked in the job market.
